Our History

Victoria Leather Company began over 28 years ago in a barn in northern New Jersey. We purchased our leather, at that time, from a jacket manufacturer in New York City. The Teardrop, our original design, was inspired by the need to use the small pieces of leather being discarded by the larger jacket companies. (One of our earliest methods of recycling!) Little did we know the Teardrop would become our bestseller for over a quarter of a century.

Our Success

With the success of the Teardrop, we continued to add handbags and wallets to meet the changing roles of women in society. Our bags are designed by women, for women, as evidenced by the many pockets and compartments, features you will find in most of our styles. The unique styling of our bags as well as the company's attention to craftsmanship has allowed Victoria Leather Company to thrive as one of the few remaining manufacturers of quality leather handbags in the U.S.

Our Commitment

Our handbags are designed to showcase the leather's beauty and timeless appeal. Victoria uses premium, full grain, drum dyed leather. Only the top 15% of all hides meet our standards of quality. The leather coupled with expert American craftsmanship results in a product which is soft, durable and luxurious. Our leather is so soft: "You have to feel it to believe it!"
